The Office of 研究 合规性和保证 works with University 研究 oversight committees, boards and offices responsible for specific components of 研究 compliance, including the Institutional Review Board, Institutional 生物安全, Institutional Animal 护理 and Use and Standards in the Conduct of 研究 Committees to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to 研究 activity. 办公室负责 for monitoring regulatory changes and recommending institutional responses to ensure compliance, and the oversees development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs and educational activities which satisfy federal, state and institutional regulations governing the conduct of 研究.

The mission of the office is to ensure University compliance with federal, state and local regulations with regard to 研究, and the commitment of the 研究 community to ethical and responsible 研究 involving human subjects, animal care and use, biosafety and responsible conduct of 研究. 研究合规 Services provides direction and development of regulatory compliance issues related to institutional 研究 by complying with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies by:

• Developing and maintaining a system of compliance that includes activity review and approval, monitoring, and reporting;
• Performing compliance assurance audits as needed, conducts monthly IRB study reviews;
• Providing educational/instructional programs for faculty, staff, and students so that they may better meet compliance requirements;
• Providing a communications link between 机构 in order to promote compliance and submitting assurances, reports and other required information to appropriate government 机构.
